Identify main broom or side brush
Start by identifying the brush position and function in the machine. A main broom and a side brush use different formats and installation arrangements. Record the exact machine model and, if available, the brush reference from reliable machine documentation.
Measure the existing brush
For a main broom, note overall length, outside diameter and both end fittings. For a side brush, note the brush diameter, top-plate dimensions, fixing points and hub details. Indicate whether the measurements are from a worn brush; wear can change the visible bristle dimensions.
Check drive and mounting details
Photograph the interface close enough to show the shape and fixing arrangement. Include orientation and rotation information from the machine or parts documentation when available. Do not infer compatibility from a similar profile alone.
Describe the working conditions
Tell the supplier about the floor or ground surface, the debris and whether the task is indoors or outdoors. Describe your existing bristles if known. A proposed material should be reviewed against the application and machine guidance.
Confirm the commercial details
State the required quantities by product and any packaging or delivery requirements. MOQ, availability, customization feasibility and lead time must be confirmed in the quotation rather than assumed from a demonstration catalog.

- Label every dimension and show the measuring points.
- Include both an overall view and the mounting connection.
